For 12 years, I have had the great honor of being the voice of the citizens of District 60 in the Indiana House of Representatives. I thank you for allowing me to serve you. I do not take lightly the responsibilities that go with this position of service.
Again, thanks!

As a state representative for the citizens of District 60, I believe my responsibilities are three-fold: to legislate; to advocate; and to educate.
Though the Indiana General Assembly is only in session for a few months each year, the work of legislating is year-round as I visit with citizens to hear their concerns and get ideas for bills and attend numerous hearings and meetings in preparation for implementing those ideas.
And folks are experiencing problems with state agencies and need assistance to cut through the “red tape” everyday. It is very rewarding when I’m able to make a difference for someone in District 60 who asked that I advocate for them.

I believe that as people better understand their government, they will be more excited about participating in the process—especially as a voter. I love spending time with our students to make their government personal and speaking to civic groups to let their members know that their voices are being heard.
It is my hope my experience, my passion for service and excellence, and my willingness to work hard and to think and act independently confirm that I am achieving those three responsibilities as your state representative.
Please let me hear from you with any questions, suggestions, and concerns.
